It is really hard to tell, specially if you are in a fast changing industry.
A good way to measure what your pace is would be to compare yourself to other companies in the same industry that have been around for the same time as you have.
- Where are they right now?
- Are they bigger or smaller than you?
- Have they had some big launches in the past year?...
I think iOS is still the preferred platform. At least I can measure that from the requests I get to develop apps, 80% are iOS only and those who want an Android version as well ask me to wait until the iOS version is live to measure its success first.

They don't charge te developer a fixed sum of money.
They will take a percentage of the proceeds of the app. The amount depends on the game and developer and what you can negotiate, but it could be around 40% I've heard.
